CRASE I and II Active Shooter Training
This course includes CRASE I and II all in one day!
Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, medical issues.
Join BOMA Columbus for this informative course presented by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. This event features demos, please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
If you have already taken CRASE I, you may just come for the CRASE II session at 1:00 PM. Or if you are limited on time, you can also opt to take just CRASE I from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM. Please note on registration, if you only plan to attend part.
A big thank you to the Emergency Preparedness Committee for sponsoring lunch!
