BOMA Creator Day in partnership with Flying Horse Farm
Flying Horse Farm, 5260 State Route 95, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338
Thursday, November 17th
Join BOMA Columbus in volunteering at Flying Horse Farm for BOMA Creator Day and help Flying Horse Farm clean up cabins, winterize outdoor activity areas, and others skill specific tasks around the camp. The day typically starts at 9:00 am and finishes around noon. After the workday, they offer a 45 minute tour around the property.
For those interested register below. Each volunteer will need to complete a volunteer profile by clicking on this link: Camp Creator Day Volunteer Form. Please have each volunteer complete their profile by Thursday, November 10th. This will allow us enough time to prepare for your day.

8:30 – 9:00 AM ARRIVAL
9:00 – 12:00 PM WORKDAY
12:00 PM LUNCH
1:00 PM TOUR OF CAMP (optional)
2:15 PM DEPARTURE (if touring)
HOW TO GET HERE:
Flying Horse Farms
5260 State Route 95, Mt. Gilead, Ohio 43338

From Columbus to Flying Horse Farms:
- Take 71 north to the second Mt. Gilead exit (Rt 95, Exit 151)
- At the end of the ramp, take a left and head west for 4 miles.
- Flying Horse Farms is on the left-hand side just before the big blue branded water tower
- Approach the gate and follow the posted direction for entry.
- Allow 45 -50 minutes for travel from Columbus.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Since a Camp Creator Day is all about getting ready for our campers – you may get dirty. Please wear closed toed shoes and casual attire that you won’t mind getting messy. You may be working outside so please watch the weather.
UPON ARRIVAL:
PARKING: Pull into the gates, follow the path, and take the first right and park in the back parking lot.
CHECK IN inside the Dining Hall.
Due to numerous food allergies, Flying Horse Farms is a nut-free facility. Please leave your snacks containing nuts at home.
