Directions
Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event. The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend strategy developed by ALERT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.
Sign up and receive FREE training* from professionals who are passionate about what it takes to keep you safe!
Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, the role of professional guardians, civilian response options, medical issues and drills.
If you didn’t get to take CRASE I the last time we offered it, or you want a free refresher this is the class to sign-up for this summer.
CRASE II is not availabe at this time due to social distancing requirements. We will let the membership now as soon as the class can be scheduled.
*The class will be held on the 3rd floor conference room in suite 320 adjacent to the Colliers office.
