Building Tour! The New Huntington Gateway Center

  • Join your fellow BOMA members as we tour the Gateway Center by Huntington Bank.  The Gateway Center is an adaptive reuse of the former Northland Plaza Meijer store that Huntington converted into a $35 million state-of-the-art office facility in less than a year.


  • The 210,000-square-foot facility currently houses 1,300 Huntington employees and has the capacity to hold up to 1,600 employees.


  • As part of Huntington’s sustainability focus, the building’s design and materials incorporate energy efficiency concepts including:

o   Ohio’s first solar trees

o   Daylight harvesting technology

o   Active skylights that track the position of the sun to angle in natural light

o   Solar panels on the roof and south canopy

o   LED lighting

o   UV rated glass film on all windows

o   Electric vehicle charging stations (coming soon)


  • Gateway Center offers a contemporary work environment for employees including open and collaborative workspaces, sit-to-stand workstations, over 150 multi-purpose meeting rooms and outdoor seating space.


Our tour will begin at 4:00 p.m. please register so we know how many of you will be attending.  There is no fee and guests are welcome.
